No Bake Candy Cane Organic Date Brownies

We can not believe that Christmas is this weekend! Are you in need of an easy-to-make and reduced sugar holiday treat? Most festive treats are sugary and sweet, but making a healthy and sweet dessert is easier than you think! 

Our No Bake Candy Cane Organic Date Brownies, made with Coachella’s Best Organic Medjool Dates, are perfect for Christmas dessert or to leave out for Santa! Using organic dates to replace processed sugar, makes this dessert a great healthier alternative to normal brownies. The crushed candy canes are a great festive addition and pair deliciously with the chocolate brownies. We hope you love this festive treat as much as we do! 


  • 1 cup of pitted Coachella’s Best Organic Medjool Dates 
  • 2 tbsp of melted coconut oil 
  • ½ cup of walnuts 
  • ½ cup of crushed candy canes 
  • ½ cup of your favorite nut butter 
  • ½ tsp of pure vanilla extract 
  • ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder 


  1. Soak your pitted Coachella’s Best Organic Medjool Dates in warm water for 30 minutes
  2. While your Organic Medjool Dates soak, line a brownie pan with parchment paper 
  3. Combine all of your ingredients in a food processor and pulse until combined 
  4. Carefully press the mixture into your brownie pan and sprinkle some extra crushed candy canes on the top 
  5. Place in the freezer for 1 hour or until firm 
  6. Cut your brownies into bite size squares and enjoy!
