I bake without using refined sugar and found these. I found some tiny little bugs inside in one or two and I was a little concerned about the heat they may have gotten in the mail because the smell was a little off but they taste okay and baked really well. They are not as good as the ones I get from HEB to be honest but I cant continue buying 12oz for over 10 dollars.

The cooking dates that I received earlier this November had about 1/4 of them soft enough to easily form into date balls without problem. The rest of them were good to use for stuffed dates. They were all very fresh. Buying directly from the farm gets you more quality dates in my experience.
