Our favorite use of Coachella Dates are to make energy bars.
20 dates pitted ( if dry dates should be soaked)
Cup of almond butter
1/3 cup of raw carob powder
1/3 cup of unsweetened coconut
Put in food processor. Once blended it will
Have a play dough texture.
Spread in parchment paper lined 8x8 pan.
Sprinkle a little more coconut.
Refrigerate for 45 minutes. Cut into 12 equal pieces.

Very good dates! The only reason for not giving them 5 stars is because the "Rutab" dates I ordered were absolutely, insanely amazing... and in order to describe how good the "Rutab" were... i have to lower my rating of the jumbos!!! So unfortunately the jumbo dates got knocked down a notch. They were very good though!

These are the best, freshest, most succulent my delicious dates we have ever tasted: we eat them with our fresh pecans, by themselves - I chop 1/4 cup of fresh pumpkin seeds and a cup of pecans, add a cup of fresh coconut and a sprinkle of pink salt , then add the dates (about a pound) and whiz, then form into bite-size balls for our grandsons: the finest and most delicious nutrition that exists! These are our absolute favorite dates and had been for years.

I have been giving tobacco boxes arrayed with neat rows of Medjool dates to friends here and abroad. The thank you notes said, "Exquisite" "amazing" "the best dates" "wow look at the size"
"sweet" like you. The response of a friend in Paris, "I haven't opened it yet. I just love looking at it." After five weeks! Today I opened my 4 lb box of bulk Jumbo medjool dates. They were huge, corrugated with glistening dark caramel ridges and foggy valleys of natural sugar. I had my first taste of these dates because I had been eating the remainder of a 5 lb box I bought from a local shop over a year ago. Finally I can say that these dates are "out of this world" - all the best synonyms apply. My first two dates measured 5.5 cm long and 2.5 cm on three sides. Coachella's Best Darn dates are truly the best in the universe - with all due respect to the top date producing countries in the world. Yay Coachella Dates!
