Brown Barhi is a terrific variety and the moisture that it contains gives it a melt-in-the-mouth experience, every time you eat, one or a handful! In terms of flavor, sweetness and moistness, it’s right behind Rutab Medjool. I wouldn’t pick one over another though, unless you’re only able to purchase one variety. They’re all unique and worth eating side-by-side.

Pretty great. I love the chewy, caramelly texture of barhi dates when frozen. A good portion of these are too soft (over ripe?) so they don't have the chewy texture no matter how cold my freezer is. I will probably still buy again.

This is our first order with Coachella's Best Organic Dates. We tried their Barhi dates for the first time (because of the reviews). Wow, sooooo good! And moist!! Hesitated ordering this variety because we tried store bought ones before and they were so dry. Not these! OMGosh...our new fave date variety!!! These barhi dates are the BOMB!!!! I've never had such fresh, moist dates before; they are so creamy in texture. The barhi dates are very flavorful. In the past, I have bought some of the barhi dates online at other places, but they have been dry and very chewy. Coachella's Best are so tender that they almost melt in your mouth. I now eat dates for one meal a day as they are that good. I am hooked!
