I am halfway through my 5lb. box of Organic Halawi Dates! While the Barhi dates are my favorite, these Halawi offer a delicious follow up. They are chewy and have a sweet caramel taste. Great dates as a variety choice!

I have bought Halawi and Barhi dates from Coachella's Best many times. They are Organic and definitely the VERY BEST dates you can buy anywhere. They are moist and chewy and very flavorful. These two kinds of date are much nicer, at least in my opinion, than Medjool. I recommend trying ALL the varieties of Coachella's Best organic dates and deciding for yourself which are the yummiest. Too bad most people limit themselves to Medjool when there are so many fantastic and wonderful varieties out there. I have bought dates from several companies, but Coachella's Best are by far the most reliable and outstanding. I have read that dates are even safe for diabetics. Check this out. If it's true, this is fantastic. Super sweet, tasty and healthy.

great dates but this company has better varieties, got these after they had been harvested almost a year ago so naturally some were bad only requiring washing before eating, no big deal

Overall the product and experience are very good.
I'm not really certain of the level of standards for receiving Dates in a box so these are my observations and potential for improvements if possible? Overall I am satisfied with the product and will continue to purchase. My notes below are improvements to the overall experience and impression of quality to the product.
Dates had little chunks of grass or some other material. Not much and not horrible.
The little hats on the dates. I take all those off when I get the dates. This time it seems like there were more than last time.
Every once in a while I get a Date that tastes funny, not good or off. When I spit out the seed it looks like it is black. Usually the seeds are tan.
I wonder how much of 5lbs of Dates are seeds and little hats?
I like eating one date with two pecan halves, this is the best way to eat Dates.

I ordered both the khalal barhi dates, and then the rutab barhis. I wasn't sure what to think about the former, but the more I ate the more I liked them. And the rutab barhis were excellent eating from the beginning. It was what I thought how dates were supposed to taste, sweet and melting in one's mouth. I'll order both again.

These dates are just delicious! We have not been able to make it to the Date Festival the last few years, but I'm glad I can order these online. I can definately taste the difference between these honey dates and store bought. These honey dates are soft and sweet! I shared with family and they loved them too!

I ordered the 5 pound box of Halawi Dates and I must say, they are absolutely fantastic! Not overly sweet like the Medjool or Brown Barhi, but it’s flavor is phenomenal! A great snack to bring to work.
I still need to try Honey, Deglet and Zahidi Dates that are offered by this company. I’m very much looking forward to it.
